Do you recognize this handsome fellow above? Of course you do, it is our good friend and fellow Rotarian Mahbub Rahman. Mahbub is pictured here next to the Hornchurch and Upminster plaque which is positioned on the wall next to the front entrance of The Railway Hotel where we meet every Thursday.

Mahbub asked the club to order a new sign as the old one, which was outside our previous venue, only had the Rotary Club of Hornchurch on the logo. He quite rightly thought that our club should have the proper name displayed outside our new venue. Then, having made the request, he paid for the sign himself.

This is very typical of the man to make such a generous gesture so it is only right and fitting that the two beautiful objects should be pictured here side by side.

On behalf of all the members of our club-THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
