Kaylee is an Elite athlete who will represent Great Britain in the World Transplant Games in South Africa this year. Both Carol and Lynne are part of the the Great Britain transplant games team management and will support our athletes in South Africa.
Kaylee is not only an elite athlete but is also the first baby heart transplant survivor. Kaylee received her new heart at Newcastle's Freeman hospital over 25 years ago.

A Warm Rotary Welcome
Welcome to web site of the Rotary Club of Longbenton with Killingworth commonly known as LBWK. As a club we were chartered in 1973, with the assistance of Gosforth Rotary Club. This year we are celebrating our 40th year as a Rotary Club. We have been a dual gender club for many years. LBWK is a particularly friendly and fun club, believing that fellowship and friendship amongst our members is particularly important. Consequently our meetings are full of banter and laughter.
Why don't you come along and join us to see for yourself?

Please note that if you would like to join us for a meal, whether as a visiting Rotarian, or as a prospective member, please contact either: -
Julie Stephenson on 01670 512189 - who is our Club Secretary or
Stan Peat on 0191 2665419 - who is our Dinner Secretary.
Our Dinner Secretary needs to be advised of any late apologies by 12.00 noon on the Monday before the meeting.
This site is maintained by Stuart Jackson who can be contacted on 07740 632013.
