The Bala Rotary Club's Wishing Well story

Our Rotary Wishing Well was delivered to us here in beautiful Wales by way of a chain of Rotary clubs handing the well along the route from Exmouth until it arrived here in Bala.

The Bala Challenge Walks

Bala & Penllyn Rotary Club wishes to acknowledge the valuable contribution made to the Bala Challenge by our Sponsors and Supporters, we are very grateful.

The 12th Bala Challenge Charity Walk was held on Saturday 7th May 2016 and it was another success with over 260 walkers testing themselves on a variety of routes including the gruelling 20 miles with over 4,000 ft of ascent. The walkers enjoyed home-made cakes and drinks at the check-points. The funds raised will be a new record.

Due to unforseen circumstances, the 2017 Bala Challenge Charity Walks have ben cancelled .

Watch this site for news of 2018 walks.
