Duck Race Breaks Records

1 January 2012

The third running of our annual New Year's Day Duck Race raised over £1400 for the local branch of Riding for the Disabled. As usual, forty heats were run in under 2 hours, with the winner of the final winning £100. This was in spite of a head wind that started blowing the ducks upstream and necessitated a change of course.

We are a new informal club trying new things, so now is your chance to join us (call Martin Dare 07733 306 856) and influence the direction of the club. We welcome couples/partners together and try to have a 50:50 male/female membership. We meet on the second and fourth Wednesday evening of each month and occasionally Saturdays for breakfast at Daylesford Farm Shop. Please check meeting details for any temporary venue changes.
