Welcome to the Rotary Club of Wendover and District.

NEXT MEETING

Monday 21st May
Twilight Meeting:
5.15pm for 5.30 -7pm

Are you a Lark or an Owl?

The reason we ask is that the Rotary Club of Wendover and District meets at different times of the day as you will see from the Meeting Details section on the top right of this page.  But our regular weekly meeting are always on a Monday and at the Red Lion Hotel. If you click on the postcode link in the meeting details section you will be taken to a map showing the location of our venue.

The days of middle aged men in suits meeting for long Rotary lunches or dinners each week are past. The Rotary Club of Wendover and District is a young club – we held our Charter Dinner on 30th June 2009 – with dynamic members many of whom are women. We raise money for local, national and international projects and the best news is that when cakes are needed the women are never asked ‘to whip up a little sponge’; quite the reverse, our professional cake making man fires up the oven!

Our varied meetings hopefully meet all our members’ needs whether it is business networking or being part of a team of like minded people who give up their time and skills to help others. ‘Service above Self’ is the motto of Rotary and if you’d like to know more of our projects have a look at some of the pages listed on the left of this page. To find out more about Rotary in general click on the blue ‘Join Rotary’ section on the right of this page.

Wendover and District is in a lovely scenic part of the country and the town of Wendover itself is situated in the Metropolitan Green Belt and Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, lying at the foot of the Chilterns. Have a look at the 'Where We Meet' page on the left.

So if you are a visiting Rotarian or a local who may be interested in joining our merry band we’d be delighted to see you at one of our meetings. Just use the ‘Contact us’ button at the top of the page or drop in for one of our meetings.
