The Rotary Club of Shipston on Stour |
||
|
30 years have passed since The Rotary Club of Shipston received its Charter and we are proud that three Founder Members are still active within the Club. Since inception the Club has made a real contribution to the lives of others, supporting good causes in the Community together with International projects such as the Rotary Foundation and the Rotary PolioPlus campaign. Much has been done in supporting the achievements of young people and through the events organised we seek to support local business.

Shipston on Stour is the most southerly town in the county of Warwickshire, as a consequence of being a rural Club we attract members from a wide area including Long Compton, Kineton, Tysoe and Wellesbourne, also there are members from Stratford upon Avon who find Stratford's Monday midday meetings difficult to attend. We meet weekly, every Tuesday (except where a bank holiday falls) at 7.30pm for 8pm at the Halford Bridge Hotel - see side panel for details. Smart casual dress required (ties optional for men) |

We are a dual gender Club and take great pleasure in welcoming all, visitors from other Rotary Clubs and new members, if you wish to learn more about the Rotary Club of Shipston on Stour, peruse this site or go to the 'contact form' above and send us a message
There is a wonderful ethos and fellowship within the Club, our aim is to ensure that we enjoy everything we are associated with, from our weekly meetings to charity projects, in addition we have a programme of social events at which spouses, partners and friends are welcome |

The Halford Bridge is an impressive Grade II listed building dating from 1567 and oozing with character. It is also located on the Fosseway one of the oldest roads in England which runs from Exeter in the southwest to Lincoln in the northeast. There is always a wonderful ambiance and we are truly served well by the staff ably guided by Sue.
