Welcome to the website of the Rotary Club of Sutton Coldfield
President David Wilson
Thank you for visiting our website. I hope you find something of interest in its pages and that you may consider becoming a Rotarian.
Rotary is an organisation dedicated to giving service to society and in this spirit the Rotary Club of Sutton Coldfield organises an extensive range of community projects. If you browse this site you will get a taste of some of the projects our Club is currently involved in here in Sutton Coldfield and elsewhere. Some of the things close to our hearts are the Rotary Junior Award Scheme which we set up to help children to become more confident and independent, the Nepal school we built and still support and our annual charity Golf day
We are a very friendly club of 27 men and women of varying ages. We meet on Tuesday lunchtimes at Sutton Coldfield Golf Club, Thornhill Road, adjacent to Sutton Park. We also have a wide range of social events, but most importantly we do enjoy ourselves and have a lot of fun.
We are actively seeking new members to maintain and increase the work that Rotary does in the local community. As a member of a Rotary club, you have the opportunity to give something back, to give hope to those less fortunate and to make lives worthwhile and fulfilled. You will also join a network of over 1.2 million Rotarians in the rest of the world.
If any of this sounds interesting to you why not pop in for lunch one day where you will be given a very warm welcome and you can learn more about us. Alternatively you can make contact by email info@rotarysuttoncoldfield.org or call us on our recruitment hot line 07969 881289
More information about joining Rotary can be found on the RIBI web site.
Please click here -How to join Rotary.
In the video below, members of clubs explode some of the myths about Rotary and talk about what being part of Rotary means to them.
I hope we might be able to welcome you to a meeting soon.
