The 2018 Heritage Coast Run / Walk
The 36th running of this popular annual event took place on Sunday 6th May 2018 and was a huge success with a record 967 entrants running or walking the 6,13 & 26 mile routes. Our sincere thanks to everyone who took part, runners, walkers and supporters, and the many helpers who make the event what it is. For more information and to view the provisional results, please go to www.heritagecoastmarathon.org.uk or our Facebook page.
Next years event is on Sunday 5th May 2019.
What a Result !!
This years marathon event has raised over £13,000 for worthy causes. The two main charities supported this year were SERV and Riding for the Disabled. Both charities have recently been awarded £4,000 each. SERV covers Suffolk & Cambs collecting and delivering blood and baby milk products between the major hospitals. The Woodbridge & District RDA provides a valuable service to disabled adults and children in the local area.
