Fleet Rotary Young Writers do it again - well done!
Creative writing is a special talent and Rotary supports this by encouraging, rewarding and promoting such talent in youngsters through its Young Writers competition. The competition is in three categories namely junior, intermediate and senior.

Fleet Rotary were delighted to receive over 100 entrants from seven schools - namely All Saints, Elvetham Heath Primary, Heatherside Junior, Velmead Junior, Court Moor, Calthorpe Park and St. Nicholas. The winners are as follows with initials after name representing their school and click on the gold winner to see the winning entry :-

The standard was exceptional and the winning pieces were very good. Well done to all entrants and congratulations to the three winners, all of whom swept the board at district level by all winning their categories - a truly outstanding achievement and very rare for one club to have all three winners. Caitlin Griffith was runner up at National level and considering how many Rotary clubs entered this is a remarkable achievement and very well done
This competition is run every year so we loook forward to receiving many entries next year
