During November club members turned their daily walks into a sponsored walk for a target distance of 40 miles, the distance between the Rotary clubs in Central Scotland area. Proceeds for disaster relief supplies for those in need further afield.

A 1,300 mile road trip from the Eyre Peninsula near Adelaide to the gold fields in Western Australia, one of the world's greatest adventure drives. The journey included an 18-hole golf course across two states and Australia's wildlife.

This very successful event raised £1,350 of which £350 goes to Children 1st and £1,000 to End Polio Now which the Gates Foundation increases to £3,000, making the total raised £3,350. Our thanks to the 50 participants, especially to the 36 guests.
