WOW! What a fantastic afternoon! A huge THANK YOU to you all for making our second Pink 5K Walk such a happy and successful afternoon.
The sun shone and the few rain drops waited until most of you were back enjoying a cuppa & scone. With 87 walkers out on the route you gave locals and visitors a wonderful display of pink fun as you walked along from Ambleside to Rydal and back.
As a very rough figure, it would appear that we’ve exceeded £1500 profit! A fantastic amount. We will certainly let you know the final figure ASAP.
It was very heart-warming that so many of you requested that we do it again next year ………………………………… It’s the scones and cuppa that make the difference!
Thank You everyone for making the occasion so happy and successful.
AND THE ICE CREAM MAN AT RYDAL WAS A HAPPY BUNNY TOO! Thanks for supporting him.
