On Thursday 8th December 2022 President Brian Johnson, took the meeting as he welcomed 17 club Rotarians to this lunch time meeting held at the Colly Café at Collydean.
Having been given a talk the previous week by Martin Edwards and Fiona Maguire of the Collycafe and Collydean Community Centre a decision was made for Rotarians to have a visit to the centre and support the centre by having a lunch and giving the proceeds to the centre. The Collycafe along with Glenrothes Community Sports and Health Hub, Leslie Community Pantry and CAREA in woodside had been recognised by the club for their Christmas Appeal. At the meeting today President Brian Johnson presented a cheque for £350 to Martin and Katy Edwards and as it happened Suzanne McRoberts of Glenrothes Community Sports and Health Hub was visiting the Collycafe she to was presented with a cheque for £350.

On the Friday Iain Oates and Geoff Sampson visited the Leslie Community Pantry for Iain to present a cheque for £350 to Gayle Wilson. On the Saturday Anne and Geoff Sampson visited CAREA in Woodside where Anne presented a cheque for £350 to Christine Buist. On Sunday Geoff Sampson supported Love Oliver for 4 hours as he was the resident Santa in the Grotto at Glenrothes Town Centre as 78 families came along for some festive cheer.
