What a fantastic night as our prize winners from School competitions this past year who appeared on the night were awarded their trophies certificates and cash prizes, presented to them by Local MSP and special friend of our club, Scottish Government, minister for education, Jenny Gilruth. A PowerPoint presentation ran highlighting how we have been involved with and supported our community and international organisations. The main recipients of our recent Race night Autism Rocks Fife and Fife Gingerbread each received cheques for £800 along with
Homestart Fife who had previously received £750 came along and spoke about their charities and how The Glenrothes Rotary had supported them. SVP Scott Galloway spoke about Fife Gingerbread. The local High School Headteachers and or representative each received cheques for £150 to go towards their school awards day. Our Citizen of the year award went to Bernie Colford (Brown) owner of Cadham Pharmacy, who has been a powerhouse and support in supporting the health of our community. Thanks to Gilvenbank Hotel. For supporting us and organisers of the awards evening Wilna Roger and Anne Sampson.
