Junior Golf Competition 2010

Notes and Pictures from the competition

Young Golfer Competition

In partnership with Duns Golf Club we completed the local round of the Rotary Young Golfer competition, organised by Duns Golf Club Youth Convenor, David Rhind.

Sixteen junior golfers took part and the winners, Gavin Wood and Tom Baker, went through to the District Finals at Dunbar on 10th August.

The top four also form a team with free entry to our Charity Golf Competition, where they have an excellent track record, without actually ever having won.  Will it be different this year?

Well, no it wasn't, but the competition winner and the best scratch went on to compete in the District Junior Golf Finals at Dunbar.  Again, no wins but a very honourable performance.  Well done to all our junior competitors.
