Richard Koronoski looks 'In Vein' on President John Lattimore

The use of lasers in medical and surgical treatments are common place now,
be it ocular corrections, or internal surgical procedures. Much of this is
owed to equipment developed and distributed by Promed Ltd, a local Company,
formed in1996

Richard Koronoski paid a return visit to March Rotary Club on the 28th March,
describing and demonstrating some of the latest medical equipment his
company are now able to offer.

He explained how the first use of light, for eye sight corrections came
about in the 1940's. and in basic terms, how a laser works, offering the
ability to perform minimally invasive diagnostic and treatment on many every
day ailments, from infants to senior citizens.

Members were able to test the latest hand held device, that shows exactly
where veins are under the skin. With an ageing population, we can expect  these types of invention to become the norm.

His very interesting , and to the point, talk, produced an above the average
response at question time.
