We run an annual cookery competition, usually hosted at Waldegrave School, called the Young Chef Competition. Most years we have had entries from Waldegrave School and Twickenham School/Academy. Participants prepare and present a two course meal of their choice within a limited time. We usually have a local chef to judge the competition along with the Mayor of Richmond. The winning three entries win voucher prizes and the two top chefs go forward to a wider competition at Rotary District. They can go on from there to a national prize at Rotary Great Britain and Ireland.
