This Committee exists to provide assistance to the Council and Committees in achieving their aims.
This Committee exists to provide assistance to the Council and Committees in achieving their aims. Originally simply called Public Relations, this Committee was established in 2007/2008 and in line with RIBI policy later changed it's name as above.
The three elements of this Committee's remit are not mutually exclusive. Inevitably they overlap and each one also relates to every other Committee in the Club.
Marketing
The Club has been trying to recruit new members for the past few years with some success. This year the Committee will work with the Membership Committee to produce and distribute information on membership
Public Relations
Articles will continue to be submitted to local publications and this year we shall be asking convenors to provide articles of interest to go into the Ben Ledi View. The Committee will liaise with other Committees to assist with publicising events.
Communication
Communications within the Club are well catered for by Teith Topics and the web site. As with our external publicity it would be better if we could put in more articles and information provided by members. We shall be pursuing this throughout the year.
