The TECHNOLOGY TOURNAMENT is a national event taking place in venues across the UK.
One of the centres for the 2013 Rotary Technology Tournament is in Oswestry and teams will compete from schools in Shropshire and the borders.
As in previous years, the venue will be The Marches School and this year's event will be on Friday 8 March.
Teams are invitied from local schools to spend a day solving a challenge which involves problem solving, design and construction skills. The challenge is offered at Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced level and a trophy is awarded to the winner in each category.
