Rotary's oak to be planted at Brocks Hill

Rotary Club of Oadby to plant oak tree to mark its 50 years of Service Above Self


An oak tree is to be planted at the rear of the Environment Centre, Parklands, Oadby at around 2pm on Friday April 26. James Coles, who has donated the tree, will take the it ready for it to be planted in a hole to be dug by tree warden, Nick Haigh.

A metal tree guard will protect the treee from damage. EAS Signs, of Oadby, will make a plaque. They will use the same material they used when they produced the Welcome signs around the large planter in The Parade, Oadby.
