The meeting held on Tuesday 2nd July was the inaugural meeting of the 2013/14 Rotary year. Past President Ashok Harshey presented the new President Steve Butler with his chain of office and then received his Past President Medal from Steve The formalities ere completed when both the Secretary Garth Mann and Treasurer John New also received their chains of office from the President.
Steve outlined his hopes and aspirations for the coming year and considered he had a fantastic group of Rotarians around him who would help him to realise them. He stressed that he had felt the positive effect of fellowship upon his family in the past and was determined to bring a full measure of it to the members in the future.
