7:00pm 2nd round of the District Quiz versus St Asaph Rotary Club

Tuesday 21^st January brought the 2nd round of the Rotary District 1180 quiz when the host club entertained a team from the Rotary Club of St Asaph . The visitors are a formidable side and have beaten the hosts in the last 2 competitions, on the first occasion in the area final.

In the early stages of the quiz, contrary to all previously known form, the hosts gained a useful lead but gradually the visitors closed the gap and normal service seemed to be soon resumed. With a final spurt however the hosts achieved  victory.

President Steve Butler commiserated with the losers and the home team captain Garth Mann graciously accepted the congratulations from the visitors and thanked the timekeeper, scorers and quizmaster for their assistance extraordinaire in administering the quiz.
