At the latest meeting on Tuesday 4th February, Past President Frank Gorka introduced Razvan Cimpean a Romanian Surgeon of Dentistry practicing in Llandudno. Razvan explained that Romania has a unique culture, which is the product of its geography and of its distinct historical evolution. It is fundamentally defined as the meeting point of three regions: Central Europe, Eastern Europe, and the Balkans.
The official language of Romania is Romanian, a Romance language and it is spoken as a first language by 91% of the population. There is no state religion. However, an overwhelming majority of the country's citizens identify themselves as Christians. Tourism focuses on the country's natural landscapes and its rich history and is a significant contributor to the Romanian economy
