Anita St John Gray - Combat Art

Duty Rotarian - C Barrell
Speaker's Friend - D Stearn

Anita St John Gray and Tim Martin were speakers at Monday 17th March's meeting and showed a presentation of Combat Art. This project provided a compact "Art Kit" to troops from 40 Commando going to Afghanistan, who were invited to bring back their finished drawings and paintings, which then formed an exhibition in Taunton and is going on to the M-Shed in Bristol, and other Arts venues.

Comments from some of the artists and senior Royal Marine officers endorsed the fact that it had helped relieve the stress of war.
