Our speaker tonigh Don Jamieson with a talk and presentation on The Coach house Trust
The Coach House Trust is a voluntary organisation that aims to promote social and economic inclusion through integrating people into their communities. We work with people aged 16 and over who have experienced exclusion from mainstream society and who are looking to improve their employability. We provide structured workshops in Arts & Media, Horticulture, Woodwork and I.T. In addition, participants have access to both Clinical and Aftercare Support. We also operate as a social firm/enterprise, offering gardening and related services to the community.
Our main base is the Coach House at 84 Belmont Lane and some of our Horticultural services operate from various gap sites in the area, which we have landscaped and incorporated as locations for the activities of our participants. We also have services in community locations based in Yorkhill and Knightswood.
