Christmas Sleigh 2013


Roborough Rotary Club's Christmas sleigh with Santa and his team of helpers from the Inner Wheel and Rotary Club has been on the road since December 13. Thanks to the generosity of the people of Plymouth around 4,400 has been raised, all of which will go towards local charities, particularly those providing help and support to children and young people. Caroline Easton, President of Roborough Rotary Club said "We would like to thank everyone who donated monies and made our collections by the Rotary club of Roborough at Tesco, Asda and Morrisons  supermarkets and mobiles at Manadon and Fort Austin successful. The proceeds will be divided amongst local charities allowing us to help others in need. We would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year."
