Following dinner, there will be a presentation by His Honour Judge Barry Cotter QC, the resident Civil Judge for the area.
Barry Cotter QC was awarded 'Barrister of the Year' by the Personal Injury Awards, 2009. He has over 20 years experience in the areas of personal injury clinical negligence and health and safety at work. Barry is also recognised as a leading expert on product liability and regulatory compliance. He advises and represents clients in serious head and spinal injury cases, and in the defence of HSE and corporate manslaughter prosecutions. He has been involved in numerous high profile public inquiries and inquests. He sits as a Recorder in the Crown and County Court.
