7:15pm Ioan Williams - Ambassador for The Prince's Trust

Alan Guinn, President Elect opened the meeting, welcomed the members and then asked Ian Trevette to introduce the speaker for the evening Ioan Williams.

Ioan was to talk about The Princes Trust, a charity founded in 1976 by Charles, Prince of Wales and Frederick John Pervin to help young people.

Although. already skilled as a  pest controller, Ioan did need help to get his own business started (North Wales Pest Control) and found this through the Enterprise Program run by the trust. He was supported, every step of the way, with his business plan, training, funding and perhaps  best of all by an experienced business mentor.

Ioan is now a Job Ambassador for the trust and stresses the need for experienced individuals to volunteer and offer life skills advice to young people.
