Speaker Evening with Mary Phillips

Thu, Jul 31st 2014 at 7:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Meet at the Royal Oak Inn at 7:30pm for dinner at 8:00pm, followed by a talk by prolific fund raiser Mary Phillips. Paul Harrold will host the speaker. Evening open to male and female guests, but please notify the Oak if you are not attending as a couple.

Speaker Evening with Mary Phillips, a staunch fund raiser for charities, especially the Air Ambulance. She drove a 1953 tractor from John O’Groats to Lands End at 9 mph and she has written a book about her life, which will be on sale on the night.

Beer Festival (a great day in March)

The 15th Lostwithiel Charity Beer Festival will be held in the Lostwithiel Community Centre on 16th March 2019 with rugby in the afternoon and music and dancing in the evening.
