Meet at 6:30pm for 7pm at the Westberry Hotel in Bodmin for a joint evening with the Rotary Clubs of Bodmin and Wadebridge to listen to Mr Clinton Thomas Lloyd who is a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth

Speaker Evening at RC of Bodmin with Cardiothoracic Surgeon Clinton Lloyd from Derriford Hospital

Clinton trained at the University of Cape Town and qualified as a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 1990 (MBChB - Medicinae Baccalaureus, Baccalaureus Chirurgiae).  He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in 1996 and was a Specialist Registrar (SpR) at Southampton University Hospital.  In 2003-2004, he undertook a Transplant Fellowship at Stanford University in California.

Clinton's speciality at Derriford Hospital is Adult Cardiac Surgery, where he is also the Training Programme Director for cardiothoracic surgery at the South West Peninsula Postgraduate Medical Education's School of Surgery.
