Brian Bossoms speaking on 'Diabetes'

Mr Bryan Bossons Chairman of South Cheshire Branch of Diabetes UK. was introduced as the speaker.
Mr Bossons outlined the history and formation of DIABETES UK and the discovery of insulin and its value to sufferers. He covered in great detail the differences of the three major types, namely Junior, Early Senior and Ladies.
He also give us details of the vital contributions made by H G Wells and Dr Lawrence.
The symptoms of Diabetes can be easily be confused with being drunk.
The important message for the club members was the value of early checks being made in order to get proper treatment if needed.
