Metal Detecting Fund raising event
Metal detecting event at Cricks Farm in Pebmarsh.
The club recently held a metal detecting event at Cricks Farm in Pebmarsh, with participants coming from all over the county. The weather on the day was a little miserable (well to be honest it was raining pretty much the whole of the time) and so turnout was not as good as it had been at previous events. None the less, those that did turn out had a thoroughly enjoyable time and the event helped to raise funds for the metal detecting club, the local church and Rotary charities. We look forward to hosting another event next year.
A huge thanks to Rotarian Jim Crayston on whose land the event took place on and who put in considerable effort to arrange the day and ensure everything ran smoothly.
