EVENT CANCELLED - Western Areas Summer Fayre

The Western Sector Clubs (of which we are one) are intending to hold a Rotary Cricket and Summer Fair in Chislehurst on Sunday 21^st June.  This will be an all day event to raise money for the DGs Charity as well as being a fun event for Rotarians and an opportunity to showcase Rotary.

Apart from the limited over cricket three matches of 8 overs per side - we expect to have a Beer Tent, Refreshments, Jazz Band, childrens ride and bouncy castle, charity and Rotary stalls maybe Morris Dancers, craft fair and lots of other entertainment.

        Please put the date in your diaries and support the event.

        If any of you or your family would like to play in the cricket matches please let me know so that we can think about how the teams might be made up we dont expect that any single club would be able to field a side.  This is intended to be a fun event, pads and bats will be provided if you dont have our own and there will be no strict order of dress for players.

        We also need to identify anyone able/qualified to umpire or score.

        I have promised that our own club will provide a gazebo with some sort of money raising competition or game I would like a volunteer(s) for that please.
