The Rotary Club of Oxford Isis and the Rotary Club of Oxford Spires
Last week-end saw us at Templar's Square in Cowley to Know Your Blood Pressure when in collaboration with the Stroke Association we asked over 140 Saturday shoppers to roll up a sleeve and find out what their blood pressure was. High blood pressure dramatically increases the risk of stroke and several people were referred to their GP for additional checks. We are grateful to the members of Oxford Spires Rotary Club who along with our own members put service above self and gave up a good part of Saturday to fulfil this valuable service to our local community.
