On Tuesday 17th May the speaker was Colin Evans from Action on Hearing Loss Cymru. The staff and volunteers work together to make it the largest hearing loss charity in Wales.. Action on Hearing Loss Cymru was established in 1997, and works in local communities with the one-in-six people in Wales who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus, to prevent them becoming isolated

. There are endless ways that small interventions, such as information and advice, peer support, technical devices and communication support, can bring about radical improvements in quality of life. Being experts in providing support for people with hearing loss and tinnitus some of the things the charity is able to provide are, day to day care for people who are deaf and have additional needs, to supply communication services and training and offer practical advice to help people protect theirhearing
