Young Artist of the Year Competition

Hull Young Artist of the Year Competition showcases Hull's artistic talent.

Hull Young Artist of the Year, 207

This event offers unique opportunity for Hull schools and colleges to showcase just some of the artistic talent of their students.  This year, there have been over 100 entries from 20 schools, colleges and special schools, and these were on display at Hull’s Central Library throughout August and into September.  There are prizes and awards across the age ranges 12-14 (Key Stage 3), 14-16 (Key Stage 4) and 16-18 (Key Stage 5).  There is a special prize for entries from special schools - the Lord Mayor’s Prize - and visitors to the Exhibition are invited and encouraged to vote for their favourite entry from all those on display  - the People’s Prize.

At a special presentation evening held on 7th September Prizes were awarded as follows
