The Falcon's Malteser - Devonshire theatre, Eastbourne

The Falcon's Malteser Wednesday 14 October 2015  DEVONSHIRE PARK THEATRE

After a rip-roaring sell-out national tour, Anthony Horowitz’ The Falcon’s Malteser  (adapted for the  stage by New Old Friends and presented with Theatre Royal Bath’s Egg, Newbury Corn Exchange, Natural Theatre Company and Walker Books) heads back out around the country. Featuring slapstick, comedy songs and a cast of 4 playing 20 brilliant characters, this hilarious family adventure will have you rolling in the aisles!

A hilarious family film noir pastiche following the adventures of the hopelessly inept private detective Tim Diamond and his sharp witted brother Nick, The Falcon’s Malteser sees the Diamond Brothers Detective agency on a thrilling case to discover just what is so important about those titular Maltesers!

Anthony Horowitz says “(The script) stays very true to the fun and the adventure of the story, presenting the myriad characters with just four young actors and a huge amount of inventiveness. In fact, it's an object lesson in the power of the theatre.”
