Bursary Awards to Highfields School Students
The Rotary Club of Matlock has awarded bursaries to two students at Highfields School, Matlock, to help them with the costs of university life.
The bursaries were awarded to Zoe Mold, who is to study primary education at the University of Roehampton in London, and William Hartley, who is to study psychology at Birmingham University. Both Zoe and William come from Matlock.
Peter Kidd, President of the Rotary Club of Matlock, said “I am really pleased that Matlock Rotary Club has been able to help Zoe and William in their future studies at university.”
Diane Blount, Senior Vice President of the Rotary Club of Matlock, who is a retired teacher, said “It is wonderful to be involved with Highfields School, helping students embark on the life-changing experience of going to university. We are very pleased to be awarding the bursaries and wish Zoe and William every success in their studies.”
