President Bill is pleased to announce that the Club's 36th Charter Dinner will be held at Moortown Golf Club, Leeds, LS17, on Thursday 10th March, 6.45 for 7.30pm. Fellow Rotarians, their spouses and guests are warmly invited to attend.The Guest Speaker will be Ian Clayton. Ian was born in Featherstone, Yorkshire, in 1959, and is a writer and broadcaster. In a freelance career spanning 20 years he has edited and authored more than forty books and broadcast on TV and radio. He has run education workshops from infant schools to universities, working regularly with musicians on opera and music theatre projects. He has worked across Europe as well as China and the United States. (Source: Wikipedia). The cost of the evening is £25, and the dress code is lounge suits. The menu is: Chef's Soup with Warm Crusty Bread, Slow cooked Beef Brisket with horseradish fondant and braised red cabbage, with Eaton Mess to follow. Coffe/tea.
