Social events are a vital part of Horwich Rotary's annual calendar.


Social Events

Barge Trip: 2016

We filled the boat with 11 Inner Wheel Members and the rest from Rotary and Guests for our trip along the Bridgewater Canal.

This 3 hour trip allowed to travel from Worsley through Monton,Barton over the Manchester Ship Canal to the Trafford Centre. We came back on the same canal to Worsley.

On the way we traversed the swing bridge at Barton, which was a highlight of the trip.

Ladies Night 2015

The president of Horwich Rotary, Tom Mather, welcomed fellow Rotarians and their guests to the Club’s Ladies Evening at Rivington Barn on Saturday 7th November.

This is the highlight of the Club’s social calendar when it provides an opportunity for Rotarians and their guests to show their appreciation for the support provided by their spouses or partners over the past year.

more Weather was fine for this excellent boat ride on the Francis Egerton, a 65ft narrowboat, converted into dining room accomodation seating 32 persons.
