Dinner - Speaker - Ron Page - A92 Update

On Thursday 15th September 2016 in the absence of President Brian Johnson, SVP Lindsay Roy took the chair as he welcomed 19 Rotarians and guest Rotarian and Past District Governor from the Rotary Club of Leven, John Clark, 4 guests’, speaker Ron Page, Bert Hannah next week’s speaker and Joyce Cameron wife of Gerald, to this lunch time meeting held at the Gilvenbank Hotel.

On reception this week was Murray Grubb who said grace John Wood and Peter May.

Our speaker this week was Ron Page Chair of the North Glenrothes Community Council who talked about the A92 project and the potted history of the campaign which over the years has been talked about with a lot of action from the steering group but no action by the Scottish Government,

The Rotary vote of thanks was given by Murray Grubb,

This coming week 22nd September 2016 will be a lunch time meeting at the Gilvenbank meet at 12.45pm for a 12.55pm start. Our speaker will be Bert Hannah who will be giving us a talk about Robert Dunsire VC.

On reception this week 22nd September 2016 will Bill Wooton and Peter May.

Friends of Rotary is being promoted for those who would like to be involved in assisting in the community and internationally but have limited time and possibly can only commit on a part time basis.
