Rotakids Scarecrows help International Disasters

The Brora Primary School Rotakids adopted the theme of Shelter Box for their entry to the village Scarecrow Festival.  Helped by the East Sutherland Rotary Club over 15 scarecrows were created.  They ranged in size from big strong men to babies and covered different ethnic origins.   Ages were from baby to grandfather. The Shelter box tent was assembled and put on display outside the school front door and the tent soon had a family of scarecrows asleep inside along with tools, cooking utensils and lots of information on what Rotakids, Rotaract and Rotary does at home and overseas.

A great community youth project enjoyed by Head teacher Dawn McKenzie, Rotarians Fiona Risk and Graham Gillott, Rotakids president Arabella Rennie, Vice President Maisie Mackintosh and all of the club members.
