28 Rotarians dined with Inner Wheel Club of Buxton on 1 November as President Iris Thomson (photograph) hosted the Annual Joint Dinner at the Lee Wood Hotel. Speaker Gary Rainsford (photo, right), Head Gardener at Lyme Park, captivated those present with a slide-show recounting the restoration of the Gardens at Lyme and the work of the National Trust. Buxton Rotary President Jim Swift, thanked President Iris on behalf of Rotarians and their guests who had attended the fine dinner the Lee Wood Hotel served.
