Evening meeting with a Desert Islands Discs theme

On Thursday 24th August 2017 President Lindsay Roy welcomed 53 Club Rotarians and guests to this evening meeting which was held at the Gilvenbank Hotel, Glenrothes. 

On reception, this week were Jack Dempsey and Peter May.

What a great night for our Desert Island Discs. Thanks to Rotarian Malcolm Robertson for compering the evening and to SVP Anne Sampson for pulling the evening together along with Wilna Roger for all her help, Great to see Rotarians from Methil and Buckhaven and Kirkcaldy Rotary clubs coming along to support us as well as all the other guests, A great variety of music from all the castaways, IPP Brian Johnson, Ron Page, Chris Grist and friend of Rotary Lyndsay Clark and a great ending of "our song" from Archie and Maureen Lawrie with their special story.

This week’s meeting on Thursday 31st August 2017 will revert to a lunch time meeting to be held at the Gilvenbank Hotel. please meet 12.45pm for starting at 12.55pm.  On reception, will be Sheila Matthew and Peter May.

Our Speaker this week will be Susan Budd Community Support Officer speaking about Leuchars Station -RAF to Army
