Rotary raises funds in a number of ways during the year and distributes these to local, national and international deserving causes. In May over £5000 was raised at a charity golf event and dinner at Aberdour Golf Club. This was the 11th running of the event with total proceeds over £40000. The next  fund raiser is the annual sponsored walk along the coastal path from Inverkeithing to the Silver Sands at Aberdour is on 6th September. The main charity this year is Piggy Bank Kids. Around 100 adults and youths, including Scouts and Boys Brigade from Inverkeithing take part. There is a BBQ at the Silver Sands.  We are very keen to broaden support to include clubs, groups and teams in Dalgety Bay. Any group or individual interested please contact one of  the individuals below for further information.

The Club has raised £160,000 for deserving causes at home and abroad. In the last year the main beneficiaries were CHAS, Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts Football Club, Chernobyl Children and the RNLI. The Club also maintains close links with local  schools. An annual concert is organised with  the Music Department of Inverkeithing High School. Pupils are sponsored on the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, a 5 day residential developmet event, and  a contribution is made annually to prizes.
