Every year our club send 2 teenagers to the Rotary Youth Leadership Award Programme at the Abernethy Centre near Aviemore. This years participants Lorna and Tom gave us an excellent presentation highlighting the challenges they faced of having to bond quickly into effective teams with people they had never met before. They both felt that the residential week gave them ample opportunity to learn skills that they have already put into practice having taken on leadership roles in their schools this year.
