Summer Programme - Club Speaker - Willie Talbot

Our sixth speaker in the summer programme of the Rotary Club of Motherwell and Wishaw was Foundation Convenor, Willie Talbot, regaled members with his, often humorous, tales of his job as a Tax Inspector.
Willie worked in a number of departments in his long career, but he talked on his experiences while undertaking Accounts Investigations, both at a local and national level.
No names were given but a number of Rotarians said that the hairs on the back of their necks were standing up during Willie’s talk.
President Andrew Steven thanked Willie on his informative talk, going on to inform Members of an alteration to the Speaker Programme for the new session which starts at the beginning of September.
The winner of the four-week rollover lottery bonus ball was Jim Robertson.
