This week our members were given an insight into Paul Harris our most recent Rotarian who was giving his combined Vocational into his family and working life. Paul is married to Chris and has 3 children, 2 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. He was born in Enfield in North London. He went onto gain an honours degree in Physics at Sheffield University where he met Chris in his third year. His working life saw him go from being a research assistant at Plymouth Polytechnic, to integrated Circuit designer with ICL Manchester, Product Manager at Semiconductor in Glasgow and then Yield Manager with Siemens in Newcastle. It was at this stage an opportunity came up in Taiwan where he moved for a 3 years contract and stayed for 6 years, 2 further years in China before moving back to Taiwan for two years. He eventually returned to Newcastle and with a passion for photography set up his own Photographic studio mainly taking wedding pictures, He moved to Glenrothes when a job came up at Semifab where he worked for 4 years before retiring 3 years ago and now looks after grandchildren and is becoming heavily involved in Rotary,

The Rotary vote of thanks was given by JVP Ewen MacDonald.
