Lunch time meeting - Club Assembly

On Thursday 6th June 2019 President Anne Sampson, welcomed 18 Cub Rotarians, Robert Main President of the Rotary Club of Kirkcaldy and Marilyn and Eoin Robertson held in the Gilvenbank Hotel, Glenrothes. 

On reception was Geoff Sampson with Wilna Roger saying grace.

President Anne Sampson had the great pleasure of inducting husband and wife Eoin and Marilyn Robertson into the club in the presence of proposer Rotarian Brian Johnson and Robert Main incoming assistant district governor. Marilyn had been a friend of Rotary over the past few years and since her retirement along with Eoin have been helping at numerous Rotary events recently. This is a great end to President Anne's year as she has now had the pleasure of inducting 6 new members this year.

This meeting was the Clubs Assembly with President Anne handing the meeting over to SVP Ewen Macdonald as he rolled out his plans and the theme for next year "Rotary connects the world". Budgetary controller Walter Fletcher outlined the benevolent budget for the next Presidential year.

This coming Wednesday 12th June 2019 is our Kids out day when we organise 3 buses taking nearly 100 children and carers from John Fergus and other local schools to the Deer Park near Cupar,

This coming week Thursday 13th June 2019 is an evening meeting to be held at the CISWO in Glenrothes meeting at the earlier time of 5.30pm This week is giving us the opportunity of having a casual meeting and seeing round the CISWO’s new premises
