Evening meeting - To be held in CISWO

On Thursday 13^th June 2019 President Anne Sampson, welcomed 15 Cub Rotarians, to this casual meeting held in the CISWO in Glenrothes, it was great to see Peter May back at the club after a period of illness.

This meeting was held in the CISWO to give our members the opportunity of seeing round the new premises and to see what was available.

The club received the sad news of the passing of Alex (Sandy) Clark on 12^th June 2019 a thanksgiving service will take place at Leven Parish Church Durie Street Leven at 1pm on 19^th June 2019 and then onto Scoonie Cemetery, Alex (93) who was the clubs President in 1966/67, was a true gentleman was latterly an honorary member will be sadly missed.

Last Wednesday 12^th June 2019 was our Kids out day when we organised 3 buses taking nearly 100 children and carers from John Fergus and other local schools to the Deer Park near Cupar. Considering how the weather has been the day remained dry to allow the children the opportunity of seeing the many animals they now have. A great day was had by the children, carers and the Rotarians. Well done to Rotarian Will Wishart who pulled the event together.

This coming week Thursday 20th June 2019 is a lunch time meeting to be held at the Gilvenbank Hotel Glenrothes meeting at 12.45pm for starting at 12.55pm.

This week our speaker will be Rotarian John Minnhinick who will be speaking about Parkinson’s disease.
