Rotary Treasure Hunt.
Two in a Row for the `Curly Tops` on Rotary Treasure Hunt.
For the second year running a team of ladies (and two dogs) drawn together by Keswick Town Clerk Lynda Walker and entering as the `Curly Tops`, took first position in the annual Rotary Car Treasure Hunt.
With a score of 88 percent, they were a smidgen ahead of the next two cars who completed with 85.
David Quainton who had prepared the course and observation clues admitted that this year`s event was a touch harder than last year and coupled with wet weather made it that bit more testing.
Helen Hunt who organised the event on behalf of Rotary finished fourth overall. She had arranged an excellent pie supper at The Snooty Fox in Uldale.
One crew battled on and realised that they were probably not destined for the podium when they had to switch on the cars headlights to finish!
Twelve cars took part and £330 was raised.
